Are acupuncturists regulated in Australia?
Yes. As of 2012, acupuncturists must be registered with the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme for the Health Professions. This is the same scheme that regulates other health professionals, including medical practitioners, chiropractors and midwives etc. Each of our acupuncturists are registered with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia and are also members of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association Ltd, which is the leading association for qualified acupuncturists and Chinese medicine practitioners in Australia.
